In the scope of a humanitarian project, funded by Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, which was carried out in collaboration with Caritas Slovenia and Caritas Rwanda, GeoCodis developed a mobile application for Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs). VSLAs are community-based financial groups that provide savings and small loan opportunities in areas with limited access to formal banking services.
The application replaces traditional paper-based record keeping with a digital solution that enables group leaders to manage savings, loans, repayments, and other financial activities directly on a mobile device. The system automatically organizes records and calculations, helping reduce errors and simplify group management.
Designed for real field conditions, the application also supports offline data collection and synchronization once an internet connection becomes available.
In the near future, we hope to organize a presentation and training session in Rwanda.
