At the end of September 2025, we visited Rwanda as part of the Slovenian development and business delegation, where we had already successfully completed several projects in the past. On the first day, we met with representatives of the European delegation and then took a three-hour drive to the Kibungo district, where, together with Slovenian Caritas and the company ElevonX, we are launching a new humanitarian project.
The following day, we visited a Catholic school that was established also with the support of Slovenian funding. The staff welcomed us warmly. In the evening, the central event of our visit took place, where we introduced ourselves and discussed further business opportunities. For GeoCodis, a particularly important meeting was held with the Director of the Rwanda Space Agency.
On Saturday, together with a Slovenian entrepreneur, we visited a rare mineral mine, where we learned more about the environment and the challenges involved in extracting raw materials for modern technologies.
Sunday was dedicated to supporting our cyclists, who delighted us with Pogačar’s victory and his second world champion title.
Monday was reserved for additional meetings, and on Tuesday we flew on to neighboring Uganda. More on that in our next news update.
