On Tuesday, June 20, the ”5th National Conference on the Internationalisation of the Slovenian Economy: Greenovated in Slovenia” was held in Maribor. The central theme of the event was the importance of green and innovative breakthrough solutions created by Slovenian companies on foreign markets.
The conference was also attended by the director of GeoCodis, Matjaž Ivačič, who participated in a panel discussion entitled “Engaging the Private Sector in International Programmes and Development Cooperation,” where he spoke about projects in Africa, knowledge transfer, and the use of satellite imagery, among other topics.
The organisers of the event were the Ministry of Economy, Tourism and Sports and the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs.
