In mid-January, astronaut of Slovenian descent Sunita Williams visited Slovenia. Representatives of GeoCodis joined her at several events during her stay in the country.
We attended a reception at the Noordung Center in Vitanje, where our company was highlighted in the speech of the Minister of Foreign Affairs for its work in the field of space technologies and projects in Africa. We were also present at a visit to the Laboratory for Gravitational Physiology of the Jožef Stefan Institute at the Nordic Center Planica, where we briefly presented the activities of GeoCodis. The programme of her visit concluded with our participation in an event at the U.S. Embassy.
Sunita Williams’ visit highlighted the importance of international cooperation in space research and the opportunities for connecting knowledge, science, and companies such as GeoCodis.
