On Wednesday, 3 December, we held our traditional end of year gathering at GeoCodis.
We first visited the Sunita Williams Memorial Room in Leše, learning about the American astronaut of Slovenian descent and her impressive career at NASA. We then continued to the Dovžan Gorge for a guided tour, enjoyed a short walk, and took in the area’s remarkable geological and natural heritage.
We concluded the day at the domačija Globočnik in Globoko, where we celebrated a successful year over an excellent dinner and relaxed conversations while shaping plans for the future.
