The beginning of autumn has been quite eventful at GeoCodis. In addition to our business visit to Rwanda and Uganda, we also took part in a business delegation to Algeria, where we joined eleven Slovenian companies in strengthening economic ties between the two countries. The visit included a business forum, B2B meetings, and visits to Algerian companies and institutions.
We met with numerous existing and new potential partners. There was strong interest in collaboration in the field of smart irrigation supported by satellite technologies. The Algerian Space Agency offered us cooperation on a pilot smart irrigation project in Algeria and connected us with a local partner, with whom we are already preparing for project implementation.
The economic delegation to Algeria was organized by the Agency SPIRIT Slovenia in cooperation with the Ministry of the Economy, Tourism and Sport, with the aim of strengthening economic cooperation between the two countries.
