The GeoCodis company developed UPMIS (Utility Performance Monitoring and Information System), an information system designed to monitor and manage water resources in rural regions of Uganda. This system was developed for the Ministry of Water and Environment in Uganda. The project, which has been running successfully for several years, is helping to improve Ugandans’ access to safe drinking water. Over the years, we have been maintaining, updating, and upgrading the system. As part of the latest upgrade, we conducted two workshops for system users in Uganda in October. During these workshops, we introduced the functioning and use of UPMIS to the participants through lectures and exercises.
