At the beginning of February, we had a business visit to Egypt, where we started a new project: Development of GIS Location Finder Module for Urban Upgrading Areas in Egypt.
A large part of Cairo is informally built-up, without basic infrastructure and without consideration of urban planning guidelines. The goal of the project is to establish a platform based on satellite data to verify the condition of the city. The platform will help urban developers plan the revitalization and development of the city, with the desire for better living and working conditions for residents.
Together with partners, local authorities and urban planners, we conducted site visits, set the direction of project development and coordinated the goals.
