At the end of September, we were on a business visit to Rwanda, where we started a new project called Machine Learning for Earth Observation. The goal of the project is to transfer knowledge and education of young professionals in Rwanda in the fields of geo-informatics, machine learning and earth observation. The project partners are GeoCodis, GIZ (German Agency for International Cooperation), (RSA (Rwandan Space Agency), University of Rwanda, GFA Consulting Group and DLR (German Aerospace Center).
