In the autumn of 2021, Geocodis began with first activities for a new water management project in the Republic of Ghana. The project is financed by the Slovenian Ministry of Economic Development and Technology. Our local partner in Ghana is the Community Water and Sanitation Agency. In November we visited the capital Accra and its surrounding regions and we made an analysis of the current situation. Based on the gathered information, we will apply for a project and gatherd funds to set up a new water management information system, which will provide a complete overview of the water and sanitation systems throughout the country.
